LEAD

“The role of a LEAD team member is to be a servant leader within their peers.  Members are expected to consistently attend all formation meetings as well as the fall and spring small group sessions with their peers.  The LEAD team will be expected to have a continually deepening relationship with God, the willingness to grow in both humility and leadership skills, and to be a witness among their peers.”

If you thinking that this might be you than think about apply for the 2011-2012 school year LEAD team.  Applications are due by September 20th.  It is for teens of all grade levels who are interested in committing for a year to the requirements below and growing in their faith and leadership skills.  For more information contact Marianne Hussle at saintmarysparishyouth@gmail.com or by phone 517.319.1975     See below for the commitments for the new year:

LEAD Training – Join the team for training, spiritual growth, practical leadership skills and more.  Training will take place at least 1-2 times before the start of small groups.

Participation in small groups – LEAD teens need to be able to put their learning into practice, which means that they will need to be as active as possible in youth group activities.

1x Mont/bi-monthly Planning meeting – Short and sweet, this will be where LEAD provides their input and more to the youth outreach team.

Spring Retreat – an afternoon/day retreat
